End-to-end engineering, no shortcuts

I've spent 10+ years working as a fullstack developer in Medellín, Colombia, moving comfortably between backend and frontend on every project I take on.

My day-to-day combines C# and .NET (Core and Framework) with clean architecture and CQRS on the backend, and React, Next.js and TypeScript on the client side. I also work in Flutter for mobile, and AWS and Azure for the infrastructure that keeps all of it running in production.

Beyond writing code, I care about systems staying maintainable: query optimization, monitoring, technical documentation, and solid Git practices are part of the same job, not an afterthought.

EnCicla — Registration & Admin Panel

Registration form and admin panel for the EnCicla system

The problem

The EnCicla system (AMVA) needed to digitize new user registration — with digital signature and document upload — and give the admin team a panel to review those registrations.

The outcome

Two Next.js applications deployed on Azure: a public registration form with digital signature and document upload, and an admin panel with tables and data visualization; with targeted changes to the .NET API to support them.

The problem

Owners and mechanics of Chevrolet Blazer and S10 trucks across Latin America lack a centralized diagnostics and maintenance tool for these models.

Interactive directory of natural gas vehicle stations in Colombia

In production

The problem

There was no simple, up-to-date way to find Natural Gas Vehicle (GNV) stations in Colombia using official SICOM (Ministry of Mines and Energy) data.

The outcome

A directory with an interactive map, filters by city/department/operator, and CSV export, covering 476 active SICOM stations, SEO pages per department, and a data-freshness check against the public datos.gov.co API.

Legally-binding electronic signature platform in Colombia

The problem

Companies needed to sign documents and promissory notes remotely with full legal validity in Colombia (Law 527 of 1999), without relying on physical signatures.

The outcome

Production platform for electronic document signing, electronic promissory notes, biometric identity validation, and certified communications (email/SMS/WhatsApp) with timestamping.

Fintech/insurtech for agricultural risk assessment

In production

The problem

Financial institutions and insurers struggled to inspect crops in hard-to-reach areas and validate producer-reported data when underwriting agricultural credit and insurance.

The outcome

A web application that scores risk based on crop type and location, and generates agricultural credit or insurance quotes from that score.

Church Announcements Management System

Centralized announcements with role-based access control

In development

The problem

Churches needed a single place to manage announcements and distribute them consistently across channels, with different permissions per user role.

The outcome

Backend built with Clean Architecture and CQRS, frontend in Next.js 15, role-based access control (Pastor, Elder, Director, Member), and three output channels: website, TV/slideshow, and WhatsApp.

A restaurant needed a technical proposal and a working MVP for an ordering system, with a clear commercial deliverable for a non-technical client.

The outcome
